Yesterday was day three and the women's tennis team first match up was against the Bucknell Bisons and Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. The Bobcats started off their Tuesday afternoon with a doubles point win against Bucknell University. Unfortunately, the match did not continue to favor the Bobcats. On the singles side, Sophia Dzulynsky and Alexandra Mircea both lost a tight match in the third set tiebreak. After six hard fought singles matches, only Jennifer Lu won. At the end of play, the team fell to the Bisons 5-2.
After the disappointing loss, the team recharged at a nearby Panera before facing the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights at 7 PM. Once rejuvenated, the Bobcats returned back on court with vengeance and more energy. The team swept the Knights off their feet with a 7-0 win. With this big win, the team headed back to the resort at 11 PM for a well-deserved night of rest.
On Wednesday, the women's tennis team will face the North Georgia Nighthawks at 10 AM and the Northern Iowa Panthers at 6:30 PM. Here's to another long day. Let's go Bobcats!
