Shane Recklet Signs With SV Germania 90 Schoneiche

HAMDEN, Conn. - Former Quinnipiac men's soccer standout Shane Recklet (Shelton, Conn.) has signed with the German Pro club SV Germania 90 Schoneiche. SV Germania 90 Schoneiche, based in the German state of Brandenburg, plays in NOFV-Oberliga in the Nord division. NOFV-Oberliga is in the fifth tier of the German Football League System.
Recklet was a two-time All-NEC Second Team selection, in both 2008 and 2009, as well as a team captain during those same seasons. He finished his Quinnipiac career with eight goals and three assists and led the squad to its first ever Northeast Conference Championship Game during his senior season.
