Putting 2009 In The Books
The No. 8/10 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team will play its final
game of the 2009 year when it travels to Cambridge, Mass. to take
on Harvard University on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. Quinnipiac has
not played since Dec. 12 when it knocked-off Atlantic Hockey
opponent American International to improve to 8-0-0 on the Bobcats'
home ice. Quinnipiac is currently 13-3-1 overall and 7-2-0 in ECAC
Hockey. Harvard is 1-8-2 overall and 1-5-2 in ECAC Hockey play.

Scouting Harvard University
Harvard enters Tuesday's game with a record of 1-8-2 overall and
1-5-2 in ECAC Hockey play. Harvard has not won a game since Oct. 30
when it defeated Dartmouth, 5-3, in Hanover, N.H. The Crimson are
0-5-1 on their home ice, including four consecutive losses. Harvard
has not played since Dec. 9 when it lost to Boston College, 3-2.
Junior Michael Biega leads Harvard in assists (8) and points (12).
Alex Killorn checks in with five goals and four assists for nine
points. Freshman Conor Morrison leads the Crimson with six goals.
In goal, Kyle Richter has logged 67% of the total ice time in net
for the Crimson, posting a 1-6-1 record with a .890 save percentage
and a 3.89 goals-against average.
All-Time Against Harvard
In 12 meetings against the Crimson since 2005, the Bobcats have
posted a 4-6-2 record all-time. While Quinnipiac has not lost in
five meetings between the two teams on the Bobcats' home ice
(3-0-2), Quinnipiac has won just once in seven games at the Bright
Hockey Center. Quinnipiac's only win in Cambridge came in the
second game of the 2008 ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals in a 7-4 victory
to force a third game.
Milestone Marker
Brandon Wong became the 11th player in Quinnipiac history, as well
as the sixth at the Division I level, to reach the 60-goal mark
with a marker against Brown on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Impressive Information
Wong is one of two active players in NCAA Division I hockey, to
score 60 goals and assist on 60 more for his career. St. Cloud
State's Ryan Lasch has totaled 68 goals and 80 assists for his
career. Wong is also second among active career scoring leaders. He
is one of five players in the nation to score 50 goals and assist
on 50 more for his career.
Three With 30 And 30
For their careers, Jean-Marc Beaudoin (35 goals, 46 assists), Eric
Lampe (43-44) and Brandon Wong (61-65) have all reached the
30-goal, 30-assist mark. The trio makes Quinnipiac one of seven
teams in NCAA Division I hockey to feature three players with at
least 30 goals and 30 assists for their career.
