HAMDEN, Conn. — The journey back to The Armory begins Dec. 3.
Coming off a six-gold performance at the 2022 MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Quinnipiac women's indoor track and field team and head coach Carolyn Martin released its 2022-23 Indoor Track and Field slate that begins at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University on Dec. 3.
"We are super excited to start the track season," Martin said. "We have a very young and talented team with lots of energy. They are already helping to shape a great culture that will help us to be successful this year. I am really excited to have the opportunity to compete at the most recent addition to tracks in New England at the New Balance facility in Boston. We have a great slate of meets ahead and can't wait to see what the season will bring."
The Bobcats' second meet will be down the road at Yale on Dec. 10 before the squad breaks for the holidays.
Martin's crew returns to action at UMass Amherst on Jan. 14 for the first of three consecutive Saturday meets. That will be followed by trips to Rhode Island on Jan. 21 and UMass Lowell on Jan. 28.
The defending New England champions head back to the NEICAAA Championships on Feb. 2-3. Quinnipiac totaled 134 points to win the 20-team event, besting UMass Amherst by 6.5 and Holy Cross 22.
Boston University's Valentine Invitational then bridges the gap between the two championship meets, with MAAC's slated for Feb. 18-19 at The Armory.
Championship season continues into March, with ECAC Championships slated for March 3-5 and NCAA's slated for March 10-11.
