Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey Introduces Michael Torello

In a Draft Day Press Conference on Monday, Nov. 20 at the TD Bank Sports Center, Quinnipiac men's ice hockey head coach Rand Pecknold introduced the newest member to the Bobcats' line-up, 11 year old Michael Torello from Team IMPACT. Torello, joined at the press conference by his parents Carolyn and John Torello, was surrounded by Quinnipiac's men's ice hockey team as junior captain Chase Priskie presented Torello with a jersey.
Through Team IMPACT's program with Quinnipiac, Torello will attend Bobcats practices, games, team dinners, events, and more.
Team IMPACT's mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing serious and chronic illnesses through the power of team. Since 2011, Team IMPACT has matched more than 1,300 children with more than 500 colleges and universities in 47 states, reaching over 35,000 participating student-athletes. The child joins the athletic team and the student-athletes join the child's support team.
