Roland Lavallee enjoyed a storied career as a member of the Quinnipiac men’s cross country team. In 1997, he was named the Northeast-10 Conference Runner of the Year when he won the conference championship, while also setting the course record at the Catamount Family Course. That year, he was named the Quinnipiac Freshman of the Year, and in 1998 he was named the Quinnipiac Male Athlete of the Year. Lavallee was a twotime Northeast-10 First Team Selection, and two-time AllNortheast Conference First-Team selection. He also won the Division II New England Championship with a course record time in 1997.
