A four-year member of the Quinnipiac golf team, Peter Jepsen was a two-time NCAA individual qualifier. Jepsen earned two tournament titles—the Nutmeg Classic in 1979 and the Jess Dow in 1980. In 1978, he set the then-course and tournament records at the Yale Golf Club with a round of 66. A two-time team captain and MVP, Jepsen was the New England runner-up, an ECAC qualifier and a member of the Connecticut State College Championship team in 1979.
