An All-Northeast-10 Conference and All-New England Region selection, Mark Krauter is widely considered to have been the best goalkeeper in the history of men’s soccer. A senior captain and 1987 Male Athlete of the Year, Krauter set a single-season record in saves in 1985—180—before breaking his own mark in 1986 with 210. In 43 games played over three years, Krauter collected 486 saves and an .850 save percentage. His 1.51 goals-against average still stands as a Quinnipiac record
