Everson Maciel was the first Quinnipiac men’s soccer player to be selected for the All-Northeast Conference, earning First Team honors in 2000. That same season, he led the team with 36 points, on the strength of 13 goals and 10 assists. Also that season, he was named to the AllNSCAA/Adidas All-New England Second Team. In 2002, he was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Year, as well as the Quinnipiac Male Athlete of the Year, after leading the NEC in goals (17) and points (38), and finishing third nationally in goals per game (1.04) and sixth in points per game (2.38).
