The 1996–97 women’s tennis team finished the season with a record of 16–2. The Bobcats were undefeated (9–0) in their NE-10 matches. They were the regular season and NE-10 Tournament Champions and played in the NCAA Division II Tournament as first seed. Coach Mike Quitko was named NE-10 Coach of the Year.
